Carbon Monoxide Testing

Carbon Monoxide Testing

Unfortunately carbon monoxide kills far too many people every year

All fuel related appliances can give off carbon monoxide, whether it is an oil boiler, a gas boiler/cooker or a wood burning stove or open fire

Carbon monoxide (also known as the silent killer) testing involves using a high range analyser in a closed room for approximately 10-15 minutes

Carbon monoxide is measured in PPM (parts per million)
High range analysers will detect the smallest of readings, down to as low as 1 PPM. This is an extremely effective way of detecting any leaks when you compare it to the average CO alarm which will usually alert you at readings of around 50 PPM
